Eve’s latest project, Un Bore Mercher / Keeping Faith will be premiering on S4C on Sunday 5th November 2017!

This is the Welsh speaking version of the television series, the English speaking version being expected on BBC Wales in January 2018.

Here is a short synopsis of the programme as provided by BAFTA Cymru.

Faith discovers that her home in the picturesque town (Carmarthenshire), which is a haven for her and her family, also harbours dark secrets which threaten their future. In pursuit of the truth, Faith steps out of her comfortable existence, as a devout mother and wife, and becomes an uncompromising detective – battling for her family in her quest to discover the truth. For the first time, she is willing to take risks, and she finds strength to seek out the truth.

As well as featuring Eve Myles in her first ever Welsh language role, the cast includes some of Wales’ best-loved talent, including Matthew Gravelle (Broadchurch, 35 Diwrnod, Y Gwyll/Hinterland), Mali Harries (Y Gwyll/Hinterland), Mark Lewis Jones (Byw Celwydd, Stella, National Treasure) and Aneirin Hughes (Y Gwyll/Hinterland).

Eve has also recently done an interview for Wales Online about her new role:

“It’s a long story,” said 39-year-old Eve, during the quickest of chats between some intense, back-to-back filming.

Pondering for a moment, she adds: “Maybe, three years ago, Pip [Broughton, the director] got in touch with me about the part and was very excited about it and very dedicated to it, and would love me to play the part of Faith.

“She explained to me it was going to be Welsh and English and I don’t speak Welsh – I didn’t speak Welsh,” she adds with a laugh after realising she’s been speaking Welsh for the last few hours on set.
