Filming on the second series has started in earnest in Dorset, and our very own Eve Myles is on set already. So what do we know already?
Unbelievably it’s been more than a year since the ratings-topping Broadchurch left our TV screens.
But fans will be pleased to see that filming on the second series is already underway in Dorset.
The script for series two is top secret, but here’s what we’ve learnt so far…
The regulars return:
Terrific leads Olivia Colman and David Tennant return as DS Eliie Miller and DI Alec Hardy, to solve what we don’t know!
Also spotted filming in a graveyard last week were Jodie Whittaker and Mark Buchan who play Beth and Mark Latimer, whose son Danny was the victim in series one.
Former Doctor Who regular Arthur Darvill appears to be back as the Rev. Paul Coates too.
There are some new faces:
Our lovely Eve Myles has already joined filming, but is not giving away too much in her tweets:
No, we love a bit of cottage pie as much as the next person, but more so – we want to know what’s going to happen in series 2, Eve!
Also joining the Broadchurch crew for the follow-up are BAFTA award-winning actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste and James D’Arcy.
We can’t wait to see what roles they will play.
