Torchwood creator Russell T. Davies has revealed that he is happy with the show's new ten-episode format. He told SFX that the new series length was perfect for the storyline he had planned for the upcoming fourth series.

SFX Magazine has posted an interview they did with Russell T. Davies, the creator of Torchwood and the new Doctor Who series. In the interview, Davies explains that the story in the next series of Torchwood, when compared to Children of Earth, will also be "very dark."

The 19th annual 2010 BAFTA Cymru award nominations were announced last week and Eve is up again this year for Best Actress! This marks the sixth year Eve Myles has gotten a nomination and it's really quite an achievement and well deserved.

Fox developing U.S. version of ‘Torchwood’

Huge news for sci-fi fans: Fox is developing a stateside version of the U.K. hit series "Torchwood." The project is from BBC Worldwide Prods., with original series creator Russell Davies writing the script.

Russell T. Davies has confirmed that a fourth series of Torchwood is in the works. Speaking to TV Guide Magazine, the show's creator revealed that he is hoping to get started on the new run in January 2010.
