That won’t happen unless they decide to do a prequel to CoE or go further back. I agree that Miracle Day did not live up to CoE standards. They were trying to make it more like a Hollywood production, but in the process they slipped up by using crappy writers and not so great American actors. Messing with a working formula has rarely worked, but RTD thought Torchwood needed a bigger platform to gain more success. It didn’t and the backlash from fans proves it.

Bring back Ianto, then I may watch a fifth season. Miracle Day was such a letdown, though. Didn’t feel at all like the Torchwood we all know and love.

John Barrowman said he would definatley do another series if he was aked. and i cant see RTD kicking jack. jack pretty much IS torchwood. i think that would be where i would stop watching.

I agree the Starz series was slow moving. 10 episodes to get to “that” conclusion. It does have an American air. And I’m American. I miss the British version. I think Starz just ruined it. I was fine with the “creature/monster of the week” format. What happened to the “rift”? This has just become an adult drama with sci-fi sprinkled here and there. Bring back the real Torchwood!!!
