Sounds great, though it will be painful watching 1 story over 10 physical weeks. Nice to have Torchwood around for a long time but I did enjoy the ‘every night’ format of series 3 as you really got swept along with it. It will be like watching 24 when it was on TV, by the next week you have forgotten slightly what happened and also forget that for them its still the same day!

Yeah, it’s still just a teaser. I wish I had the entire episode.

Maybe it will get released on DVD someday. With Eve’s popularity on the rise, they could make a lot of sales from it.

I have to agree with Stacie. Why do we need characters that sound too close to the original ones, especially with the “secret love”? Surely they could come up with something a little different instead of them sounding like Tosh and Owen mark 2. But I guess the proof would be in the pudding as to how they played out.

I’m not at all happy with the idea of the villain being a pedophile. That fact alone will make me turn off from what was one of my favorite shows. Especially if he has the last name Jones. I know RTD said he liked to have a Jones in his shows…but seriously, we go from Ianto Jones to this creep? I’m far from impressed. Just what are they thinking? Someone please tell me that they aren’t serious with this casting? This is just a joke to stir up the fans…right??

I am sooooooo happy that FOX passed on “Torchwood”. FOX would have ruined it. I am still bitter over what they did to “Firefly”. Firefly was GOOD Science Fiction. Torchwood is good science fiction. FOX has redeemed themselves a little with “Fringe”. It did make it pass the 2nd season. FOX cancels shows after their second seasons.

I am glad of happy to hear “Torchwood” will be on STARZ. One of the better movie channels. Glad they kept it in Wales.

Sadly, with the descriptions given of the new characters, it seems like an attempt at a Toshiko 2.0, Jack 2.0 and what the heck? A murderer and pedophile. Not sure how that will go with many fans. Is there are other surname rather than Jones???? This choice of possible characters is already dividing the fans and firing up amongst the web boards. I wish the writers luck and with the casting.
