Here are some new images of Eve Myles taken from the Red Carpet at this year’s BAFTA Cymru awards ceremony.

Eve was definitely drop dead gorgeous this year and must have turned a few heads. Wow.

Sadly, Eve didn’t win the award for Best Actress, but “Torchwood” won the award for Best Drama Series and “A Bit of Tom Jones?” won the award for Best Film.

Flashback: Loose Women

As part of our “Flashback” series, here’s another video you may not have seen or just don’t remember. This video originally appeared on the site a few days after it aired and was placed in video playlists later on. The original video had been encoded using the wrong aspect ratio (see screencaps), which was fixed later. This video presentation is of slightly higher quality, but still suffers from a bad crop job.

Recorded on 17th January 2008, Eve Myles was one of the guests on the British lunchtime talk show “Loose Women.” Here you’ll see Eve talking about the second series of Torchwood; her 2006 BAFTA Cymru best actress award (Torchwood); and her home town of Ystradgynlais. Overall it was a great interview and it really brought out Eve’s funny side.

We are presenting this again because it’s a great look at Eve Myles’ wonderful and shining personality. She looks stunning here and is really quite funny. It always cracks me up whenever she talks with an American accent (3:56). :) )

Eve to appear at The Hub 4

To kick off the New Year with some good news, Eve is scheduled to appear at The Hub:4 Torchwood convention this coming April along with fellow cast members Kai Owen and Tom Price. No other cast or crew members have been announced, but that will probably change as the event draws closer.

Massive Events brings you their fourth installment of “Torchwood” conventions: The Hub 4 planned for 2010, to celebrate the hit UK television series. The event will be held from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th of April 2010. This unofficial convention aims to bring together fans of the series from across the country to meet some the show’s stars and enjoy various events over the weekend. There will be activities each day from guest talks and photograph sessions to quizzes and late night parties. For more information on these, check out our events section. This event will take place in The Park Inn Hotel, Northampton for more information on this venue and room rates see our venue page. Registration will begin at 2pm and the Opening Ceremony will be at 7pm on the Friday evening!

Eve to appear at New York Comic Con

This is quite the surprise! Eve will be appearing at the New York Comic Con on Saturday, February 7:

Time Lords and Time Ladies, I’m very pleased to announce BBC America is coming to New York Comic Con with a sneak peek of the highly anticipated third season of Torchwood — Torchwood: Children of Earth — with a panel session featuring actress Eve Myles and director Euros Lyn.

More info can be found here. This is great news and I’m really glad to see Eve coming over to the US.
