Davies praises new ‘Torchwood’ format

Torchwood creator Russell T. Davies has revealed that he is happy with the show’s new ten-episode format. He told SFX that the new series length was perfect for the storyline he had planned for the upcoming fourth series.

SFX Magazine has posted an interview they did with Russell T. Davies, the creator of Torchwood and the new Doctor Who series. In the interview, Davies explains that the story in the next series of Torchwood, when compared to Children of Earth, will also be “very dark.”
