Eve will be playing the female lead opposite actor Trevor Eve in an upcoming BBC One drama titled “Framed.” The film has been adapted from Frank Cottrell Boyce’s children’s novel of the same name, and is set for a Christmas 2009 release.
The film is centered around a curator’s trip to a small Welsh village community to oversee the safe storage of a priceless art collection.
Ben Stephenson, controller for BBC’s Drama commissioning, sums the film up:
“Framed is a warm and modern story about how the power of art and beauty can transform lives,” said Stephenson. “Funny and intelligent, the film centres on a small community and how the life of one little boy and his family are transformed with the arrival of an outsider played by Trevor Eve.”
The film will run 90 minutes, and according to the news blurb, filming has already begun or will shortly (end of April).
This should keep Eve busy for awhile and give us fans something to look forward to! As of now there are few details about Eve’s role in the film, but stay here and we’ll keep you updated on any new information.
